Books. Oh the wonderful love that is our local Walden Books.
I Bought:

New Living Translation Life Application Study Bible [Personal Size, Hardcover]

Dragon Drive vol. 1

MAR vols. 12-14
Yep, I have some reading to do.
That Bible has so much information in it, more than anything any of my other study Bibles have given me. Key verse, key places, key people, timelines, dates, maps, data on people and a whole lot more. It's amazing!
Okay, so I'm sitting in the manga section (Yes, I sit when I'm looking for specific manga) And here I am, la-de-da, looking for MAR...which actually isn't hard to find anymore, given it's become more than 5 manga XD To the left of MAR, "a yaoi novel", on the shelf above, "a yaoi novel", and to the shelf next to me, which I also looked at while finding the series, "A yaoi novel". (keep in mind they completely revamped the manga section since the last time I was in there, thus the reason why I had to search for the series in the first place)

WHEN DID ALL THESE YAOI SERIES SUDDENLY POP UP?! They weren't there before...and I was quite amazed that they didn't have them bagged. [most maturer manga they put a bag-like cover on to shield from children and younger viewers; I mean, c'mon, Naruto is
right there!] It just...bothers me some. Children don't need to see that sort of thing.
THE KIDS, THINK OF THE
KIDS!!!

Stupid society
I
almost got volume 10 of DeathNote; but as I was carrying my stack of books to the register, I passed by a small side-rack with manga that said "Buy 3 VIZ manga, get the 4th free!" It uh...it distracted me. I sideglanced at it as I passed. But then I stopped, turned, and went back. I had seen what looked like two familiar faces, faces I'd seen in an anime but never as a manga, but to top it all off, I'd caught a glimpse of what had appeared to read "Dragon" as I was in passing. So I
had to look. Was it what I thought it was? Yes! Volume one of Dragon Drive, and to top it off the last one there.
Just days ago I was talking to a good online friend of mine and she had mentioned that her D.D. mangas had just arrived in the mail. I had no idea there was a manga! So then to see it in stores...ah, love.
I ran over to the first area of manga. (We have two areas seperated by a bookself, and then a third area on the back of the bookself where "N/M/O/P"(or so) manga are) I had to see if they had any other copies of vol. 1 because the one that I had found had a sticker on it promoting the VIZ manga sale that was going on. To no avail. All there was were copies of volume two.
Okay, I was okay with that. I put the volume of DeathNote I was about to buy back in place where I found it. [they had some DeathNote 1-12 placed in a shelf of it's own next to the first area]
And thus, I had in my hands a stack of books that would soon be mine, and are now; and those are that shown in the list above
Next to buy Manga-wise is volume 1-4, 10-12 of Deathnote. After them, volume 15 of MAR. Then I'll have more completed series, yay!
I saw Sim City for the DS! Oh my gosh, I MUST HAVE IT! XDDD We have Sim City 2000 for the computer and that rocked. Must have, must have, must have!
I've got a new orange kitten, Junior. He's adorable, and I'm sure you will soon see pictures of him!
7/7/07 tomorrow!

I'll be uploading then
Until then ~
God bless and have an awesome day.
